If you are bringing your own stock to the expo, you'll be assigned an arrival time for the set-up day. This is to avoid congestion at the venue entry points. Exhibitors with the largest stands are sheduled to arrive the earliest. We expect exhibitors to unload their vehicles and then move them to the parking lot so other exhibitors can come park near the door when their scheduled arrival time begins. Each driver is asked to bring at least one assistant to help move their goods into their stands as quickly as possible.
Both expo venues in 2008 have good access and we expect the set-up days to run smoothly, provided everyone sticks to the schedule and is mindful of the needs of others. |
Agility is the officlal freight carrier for Paperific. They are reliable and work to our schedule. They collect on Sunday night when we have to vacate the venues. There is never a problem with unloading or loading pallets from their trucks.
When exhibitors have insisted on using other carriers in the past, it has generally created problems for us. So we pretty much insist that, unless you are bringing your stock to the show yourself, you must use Agility as your carrier. This is definitely the case where pallet deliveries are concerned.

If you MUST take courier delivery of smaller packages direct at the venue, please discuss this with Stacey. We can generally do this, provided delivery occurs on the set-up day or Friday or Saturday. Our venues will not accept deliveries for expos before the set-up day.
